The main guidelines: no explicit sex or depictions of sex with minors, and don't use characters and settings that aren't completely original to you. Obviously, the protagonist should be a powerful woman of some kind -- think Lara Croft, Red Sonja, a woman wrestler or female bodybuilder -- or perhaps some hybrid thereof. And she always wins!
