For those of you in the amazon community who might not be aware, the premiere blog site in the realm (I have no problem admitting that at all) is Lingster’s Amaz0ns.com (note the number “0″ instead of the letter “o” in the name). It’s a great central portal for all things powerful woman-related – site links, merch, articles, fan submissions, you name it. He’s really the first guy to make the buff chick blog thing work (and spectacularly so, I might add), so be sure to include it on your daily rounds — if you didn’t stop there already before coming here.

A great thing about a site like this is that it gives you a completely legitimate reason to keep up with your favorite actresses, normally because they’re in a film or television show related to the Bad Grrls phenomenon. One such actress is Jessica Alba, an extraordinarily beautiful woman who has had a predilection for appearing in roles involving butt-kicking and name-taking (Dark Angel, Sue Storm). While she went invisible (ha!) in 2006, according to IMDB We’ll be seeing her once more in 2007, most notably starring in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and as Nancy Callahan in Sin City 2 (okay, yeah, I know this role isn’t exactly Bad Grrls material, but if she once again dons the leather chaps, I am so there! 
There are also a bunch of other bleh-looking comedies and dramas listed, but let’s face it, we usually don’t dish out our hard-earned shekels at the multiplex just to see her play another dance instructor or girlfriend character – unless it’s a bikini bonanza like Into The Blue, in which case you can at least park your brain until she or Ashley Scott wanders onto the screen clad in her skimpies. Anyway, keep your eyes peeled, and in the interim, here’s some Jessica Alba goodness to enjoy while we wait for new material:

If you’ve ever browsed the sword & sorcery section of your local bookstore or purchased a D&D module, there’s an excellent chance you’ve seen Larry Elmore’s work. Simply put, Larry has set a standard of excellence in this field for over 20 years, and I for one have been a longtime fan. He can do it all, but his warrior women are always presented with a unique strength and beauty that has become his trademark. He’s a very friendly, approachable guy, so if you see him at a convention behind his table, don’t hesitate to say hello — and check out his wares, of course. Larry’s official site is chock full of freebies, not to mention great deals on lithos and giclees. Give it a look!
As comic fans are well aware, 
Adam Hughes delivers the finest work you’ll see in any field. Particularly, his depictions of action heroines are unsurpassed, as he invariably portrays them as beautiful, strong, and curvaceous; yet he also balances the subject matter with tasteful compositions and, where appropriate, good humor. His official site features tons of freebies, and if well-armed, muscular, buxom babes are your thing (as they should be!), you are highly encouraged to check it out. It just doesn’t get any better!
In a very short time, Christina Lindley has risen to become one of the top fitness models in the entire industry, and given her all-American beauty and incredible figure, it’s no surprise. Be on the lookout for her numerous appearances in the top muscle and fitness publications on the stands, and her free website features a lot of freebies, including several shots of her posing in bikinis and lingerie — you know, the good stuff. I’ve just gotta put in a post extolling one of the industry’s pre-eminent photographers, Bill Dobbins. His depictions of female bodybuilders and sexy fitness women are unsurpassed and well worth your precious time. He has at least three sites that I know of, here, here, and here, each with a different thrust and enough free content that you’ll gain great appreciation for his skills. Enjoy!

Another talent fans of bad grrls should be aware of is Joe Jusko. He presents characters from all sorts of incredible settings, and his depictions of beautiful women are as good as it gets. His girls are always fit, buxom, and usually armed — just how we like ‘em. (I’d love to meet his models…) All kinds of free goodies at his site, check it out!
Someone whose work I highly recommend to all fans of bad grrls is Greg Loudon, who I became aware of through the cover he composed for an issue of Sheena I wrote for London Night Studios (back when there was a London Night Studios…). He renders hot, sexy vampire girls — and hot, sexy girls generally — so I know it’ll be of interest to many visitors. Head over to his website, Desolate Angels, and see if you don’t agree.
